OMG I know when UCLA decisions will be out!!!

…thank you so much…
i didn’t know that be4

^ Alright.

I won’t be spending three times the tuition because 1. My EFC is 0, and 2. our home equity is 0 because we rent (the latter two are assessed by the FAFSA and CSS PROFILE). Given that, you are probably ignorant of that fact that USC has one of the largest financial aid budgets in the country, if not the largest. USC guarantees to meet 100% of your determined need. You can dig up old threads with people in my situation given the choice between at free ride at USC and loans at UCX. UCLA, as a part of the UC system, is not immune to the troubles of the California government. UCLA will be seeing economic downturn that is necessarily commensurate with the economic activity in Sacramento. USC increased its 2009 financial aid budget by 9% to meet a possibly needier entering class halfway. What has UCLA done? What CAN UCLA do?

So there goes the first part.

Now second, in terms of quality of education, I’m positive you will be chirping a different tune as you sit in a pool of hundreds of students in a crowded lecture hall at UCLA. I challenge you to look up the schedule of classes at USC. In fact, here it is -> [USC Schedule of Classes: Select a Term](http://web-app.usc.edu/soc/)

Tell me the class sizes that you see.

What more can you say about USC’s quality of education in comparison to UCLA’s? Their faculties are comparable, if not interchangeable in stature. Their rankings vary by specialization, with USC outdoing UCLA in some areas and vice versa. So what’s your argument about USC’s allegedly inferior education? In fact, what’s your quantification method? I expect you to stick to 1/3.

My response would only take half a lunch break to write

My lunch break had already ended. :)

^ well that depends on the person. Whats your EFC?

I don’t know my EFC… But, I’m sure I dont have a lot of it.

^^funnies (around the guy between me and grey)

i think it’s good that you applied to USC for your reasons, it makes sense

but for those of us who mooch off mommy and daddy, UCLA is most def the cheaper/better choice

^ can’t argue with that.

I just wish to have a chance to attend any one of the two schools. They’re both amazing, so I have nothing to argue about.

Sucks that USC decision is still 1 month away. Far from UCLA decision which can only take at the MAX a week.

don’t you just hate it when people cut in front of you when you are writing a meaningful/semi-meaningful post

like…i spent about 10% of my brainpower writing this post (mind you that is double what I use these days) and some guy who either typed faster than you or has a shorter post gets in right before you…frustrating

a guy i went to school with had a 1.7 GPA, his dad donated $250,000 to build a new building and he received his acceptance letter from USC a week later.

omg…it happened again

yeah…i hate people like that

mediocre students with rich daddy’s can get into prestigious schools but the above average poor kid gets rejected b/c he went through the regular admissions process…that’s disheartening and moronic

of course, i’m sorry but to get into usc all you need is $$$$$

Oh that’s damn funny…

one day, these schools will be filled up with only legacies

you can’t deny that if somebody donates a large amount of money to usc they are in, i went to a private high school with rich kids left and right, every single usc applicant donated upwards of $50,000 + and that’s where they are now, needless to say their gpas were 2.5 and below.

hell with them…

that’s why i hate usc and really don’t care about their acceptance.
