<p>At my school as of today we are 1/4 through the SEMESTER. I want to go to a top teir school (mit). Im a sophmore right now and doing REALLY bad so far. I couldnt go into Euro AP as it was full, and bio AP was also full.</p>
<p>World history CP - C+
Algebra 2 cp - D
PE - A
Biology- (not sure but ill update ASAP...prolly a C/B)
English- (not sure but ill update...ptolly a B/A)
Theater - A
Spanish 2- F (56 omfg im gonna die) </p>
<p>So im doing HORRIBLE ! I NEED A 4.0 OR ILL KILL MYSELF ! Well maybe not kill myself...</p>
<p>Okay im currently overloaded. Im trying to create 2 school clubs, create a company, finish studying for y CCNA, study for my Network+ , hire employees for my company, study for SATs, etc ! Im so workloaded right now ! </p>
<p>I do not know what to do. Im am seriously fustrated, as I desperately need a 4.0, espically since Im not in any AP/H.
What should i do? Im totally freaking out.</p>
<p>How are your paying attention habits? Do you listen to the lectures? Do you do the homework?
Think about getting a tutor--that may help.
Or revise the study habits.</p>

I want to get an EXTREAMY high PSAT score next year and a very high sat score next year as well. Im taking the PAT for the 1st time in 3 weeks.</p>
<p>wow. looks like you have some serious work too do....do you even study or do your homework? theres a place to start...stop worrying about the PSAT you can take it for the experience, but don't waste you time studying for it, thats pointless with a low gpa. work harder, makeup missing assignments (if you can) and once you get caught up, start studying for the PSAT/SAT. Also, just curious, are any of the classes you're taking honors? because at my school, college-prep is a nice way of saying non-honors.</p>
<p>Work harder, and get a tutor if you are having a hard time with some of your courses. Honestly, if you want to get into MIT you must get those grades up. Do not go into complete shock or suicidal thoughts, just use your time wisely and what I tell people everyday Organize, Organize, Organize! </p>
<p>Freaking out is not going to get you an A+ so pay attention in class, ask questions, get a tutor, manage your time, and organize!</p>
<p>you cant spell extremely...no way getting a 4.0 if you do poorly even with no effort...drop the silly company idea, youre a sophomore and MIT realizes that...stop stressing over attending a brand name school, its not THAT big of a deal especially if youre not made for it. i know this may sound harsh buuuuut you probably arent MIT material. just focus on school and research possible colleges this summer.</p>

<p>Im making a computer tecnician company at low prices to combat my local geeksquad. Im not abandoning the idea, im sticking with it. Im very smart, usually, but so far im doing very poorly. Just want advice guys. Dont knock me or my chances.</p>
<p>find some time to do something you really enjoy or get some exercise. lucky for me, i enjoy exercise. just stay relaxed and it will be easier to motivate yourself for everything.</p>
<p>History- My problem has been HW. Ill get it up very easily as its worth more than tests (although im great with history so thats kind of lame) </p>
<p>Algebra 2- I took a test today, pretty sure i got 23/25 right. Doing makeup HW today, AND im getting my old tutor back ever monday. </p>
<p>Science- She offers a ton of extra credit, and she says ill have an A very easily. No problem here. </p>
<p>English - No problem. </p>
<p>Spanish- I did very well on a quiz today and im gonna start doing my hw. Also my freind down the block is bilingual (fluent in both) and so he agreed every day, we will meet, and ill tutor him in A+ certification (he wants to work 4 me) and he will tutor me in spanish. </p>
<p>Theater/pe - Honestly if i get a b its because ive become a tomatoe ! </p>
<p>So things are looking better.
Also G-U-NOT if you want ill post all my stats and ECs. I am MIT material, i just got lazy this first half quaerter :P<br>

<p>The way you stated how much trouble you were having did make it sound like you did not have a realistic chance at MIT since they basically require you to ace the most rigorous material at your public high school. However, if you feel you have chances, you know more than any of us and continue to strive. Glad you are doing better, sorry if you did not appreciate my first post, and no problem in respect to your venting. :)</p>

I'm taking the PSAT in less than 2 wks, i take a self-study class after school, i m running for an officer in spanish club, and have like 4 other clubs i've joined, everyone's expecting me to be this perfect straight A making student which i m not and i m only a SOPHOMORE! Were getting are interim grades next week and i m so nervous. i have till the 1st wk of nov. when 1st quarter is over to get most of my grades to an A</p>
<p>Sorry mtf612, but i m just giving u a little perspective. I also shoot 4 all A's which will give me a 5.0 w GPA (but i know it might not happen soon but i will eventually)</p>
