My room assignment is not showing up on my housing overview page (which was supposedly up yesterday)
Why is Emory has to be inefficient in everything! (For example, returning my money back from the trip, etc.)
I will be highly upset if I end up not getting a single room since I applied WELL before the due date!

I wanted a single too, and applied on time, but I got a roommate. There probably just aren't enough rooms for everyone who wants one to have one. Just try to make the best of it.

Based on my conversations with the Office of Disability Services, they were expecting a high percentage of singles to be taken by students with disabilities. With the alleged housing crunch, that would make even fewer singles available to others.

Why does everyone want a single? Part of the college experience is living with a roommate and learning how to coexist with another person from a different background. It wouldnt be the end of the world if you had to share....

you should probably already know how to do that by the time you get to college. that's not what having a roommate is about.

u should've assumed that u wouldn't get the single...you are a freshman after all, and i don't think they assigned housing based on a first come/first serve basis

Yeah the housing for next year is a total and complete mess. I think it has to do with them demolishing Turman West or something, but I am very thankful to be in a theme house. We lived in Trimble and my roommate had to wait for several weeks after housing opened to get a chance to live... get this... in Trimble next year. They have to do a better job in the future.
