Someone help , i applied to a couple schools in florida and they say that this year they changed the math requirements to 4 ... problem is I only have 3 :( .

Any suggestions on what to do ... my school had a huge budget cut so alot of classes are not even available anymore . I really want to go to a 4 yr college . Please Help !

Have you talked to your counselor? If they just changed the requirements this year, it might not go into effect until future years. But if it is in effect this year, maybe you can take a course online?

If it was by choice that you only took 3 math courses, I would look into online courses/summer school.
If your school does not offer 4 math courses (I can’t imagine that is the case), admissions will consider it. Also make sure 4 is REQUIRED and not just RECOMMENDED.

One school emailed me and told me they cant continue to process the application because of the situation … So i have to get in contact with the admissions counsler .

It’s okay. Relax momentarily.

Write them a letter (maybe in conjunction with your counselor). Tell them about the situation. Tell them about how your school is cutting a lot of classes (although I am surprised that a math class would be one of them). Tell them that you can/will/are taking the appropriate class online or at a community college. Do this anyway.

Okay , i’ll try that. Thanks …
