lol my bad, I did this just to get your attention.

Well I just got quick questions. If you guess or get a question wrong, you get only 1/4, .25, point deducted from your test score right?

And also, if you omit a question, the college board does not deduct or add a point to your test score right?

And lastly, if the question 2 is true… then what if you answer only 1 question (and get it right) and omit the rest of the questions… wouldn’t that be 100% on the test?

I know these are just fundamental knowledge that I should know, but hey why don’t you just help me out here? ^.^
Thank you.

Yes, that's right

Yes, that's also right

Lol that'd be wonderful, but no. You raw score will be out of say, 25. So you'd get a 1 out of 25. AKA really bad ;) Every question is worth 1 point. You omit it? You don't get any points. Get it wrong? You get deducted .25. Get it right? YAY 1 whole point for you!

It's just like how if you had a final at school and leaving it blank didn't hurt you, and you only answered one, you wouldn't get 100%

Let's say you skipped 1 out of 20. If the other answers were correct, you'd get 19/20, not 19/19. If you answered it but got it wrong, you get an extra -.25 (so, 18.75/20). Make sense?

what people dont see the consipracy of CB is that omitting actually penalizes you too. u omit,u dont earn, that means u kinda lose ,in a way lol.

Every question gives you the possibility of earning 1 point. To get 100%, you have to answer every question correctly.

Lets say you skip a question. You don't earn a point for that question

Lets say you get a question wrong. Not ONLY do you not get the points for that question, you also get penalized for getting it wrong. Penality = .25 points.

How many questions are in the section = how many points your score is out of. Count up how many you get write, don't count the ones you skip, and subtract .25 for every question you get wrong.

An example, just in case I confused you. Think of it like money. You work at McDonalds. Every hour that you work and work well, you get a dollar. Every hour you sit on your behind and do nothing, you get nothing. Every hour that you mess something up, they TAKE 25 cents from your pay check. You had the possibility of, say, 8 bucks. But because you sat on your butt for 2 hours and then messed up 3 hours (therefore only "working" 3 hours), you only earned 3 bucks. sucks to be you when your buddies at the station next to you got all 8 bucks, haha

...they ++TAKE 25 cents++ from your pay check. You had the possibility of, say, 8 bucks. But because you sat on your butt for 2 hours and then ++messed up 3 hours++ (therefore only "working" 3 hours), you only earned 3 bucks. sucks to be you when your buddies at the station next to you got all 8 bucks, haha

Then shouldn't I suppose to receive only 2.25 out of 8 dollars? Since I sat down for 2 hours out of 8 dollars of possibility, which becomes 6 dollars, and then out of the 6 dollars I messed up for 3 hours, so that cuts away 3.00 dollars + -75 cents-. So like I said, $2.25 out of 8 dollars of possibility. Or am I wrong???
