....especially you Pugfug ;).

Let's bask in the glory of it all.

Let's bask in the glory of it all.

Mark my words.
Obama will destroy our country and bring us to socialism!
I am already waiting patiently for the Election of 2012 when America realizes how stupid and impractical it was in its decision. Obama won't solve our problems.
Need to be respected in the international sector?
Screw that! That simply means we are going to have a stupid socialist economy like those over in Europe: stupid pansies.

Amazing....simply amazing.

@ OP, wow...what a great example of the intelligence and maturity of the people who put Obama in the White House.

could we all be mature tonight?

60 years ago, he wouldn't be allowed in the same bathrooms as most of the US population.

Now, he's our president. Amazing how things change so quickly?

and @ Capt Falcon, yes, Obama will face an extremely large amount of disillusionment.
When it's been 6 months into his administration, and our situation has either remained status quo or worsened, his head will roll

@ screwit, I am mature, which is why I don't vote based on either emotion or peer pressure.

^hookem, lay off the OP. I agree with him actually. Do I smell a sore loser?

a very mature and intelligent statement indeed. now that you've proven your maturity, do stop.

and @ Arachnotron, people keep saying "it's amazing how race wasn't a factor in this race."

Bull. It was the predominant factor! How many minorities do you think went McCain? and how many people do you think felt "wow, it's so cool that a black guy can be so powerful. I oughta vote for him!" It's like people watched the "Pursuit of Happyness" and got way too many ideas.

^ I personally dare you to go to a college campus, poll the student population (probably predominantly Obama) and ask them BASIC POLITICAL QUESTIONS. Who's the Speaker of the House? What does the "Electoral College" mean? I guarantee you it turns into an episode of Jaywalking.

^And how many racists do you think went "Damn negro thinks he can be president. Well I'm voting for McCain!"

It goes both ways...

haha sorryy..
but i definitelyy agree with CaptainFalcon42.

zzzzzzzz like gun-toting rednecks know any better :)

Shame.

Bush

Blacks

The nightmare of 60 is apparently gone though. :)

Obama won as a centrist, let's hope he's more Clinton than Carter.

National Journal voted him the most liberal senator in 2007. I highly doubt him to be moderate.

Pugfug is just having trouble coming to terms with a liberal, democratic president, that's all. Calling Obama a moderate is his form of denial.

im just glad that Palin isn't as near the white house as she could have been, she's not exactly what i would call a centrist.

be happy, history has been made! :)

In response to hookem, I don't think many blacks voted Obama just because he was black. It's the fact that he's a Democrat. Most blacks voted Clinton and he was white. Most blacks voted Kerry and he was white too.
