<p>i got in as a "winter 2009" admit. basically, my stats weren't high enough for a fall spot, so i have to take classes at the community college during fall. plus i won't have any chance at housing, so i'll have to do off-campus. </p>
<p>i wish i had just gotten rejected instead. i'm so ****ed right now!</p>
<p>I'm kind of shocked that some of you guys who posted stats didn't get in. I don't mean to make anyone feel bad, but I got in with a 2010 SAT score and a 3.71UW/4.01W gpa. I got 710 on Math II and US History for SAT IIs. I did get ELC notification and my app had a strong emphasis on my dedication to music (having played piano for 13 years, violin for 11, guitar for 2, and advanced orchestra for all 4 years of high school). </p>
<p>There's the possibility that UCSD rejected some of you guys because they think you've got stats strong enough to get into UCLA or UCB....</p>
<p>i know of a girl who got into cal and ucla but NOT ucsd
college application process stuff are pretty wack sometimes. you never really know the reasoning.</p>
