so I got an email about scheduling an interview with a princeton alum "3weeks" ago and I did not read the email carefully so I didnt recognise that the email was about interview.
now she sent me another email and asking me to respond.
OMG what should I say?

Just apologise, say you misread it and say that you would love to talk to her…

ouch… that’s a pretty rough situation you put yourself in, but as long as you show your interviewer that you are truly interested, she most likely will not put anything down in her report about lack of interest.

So when you say “3weeks” ago, you mean that in a sarcastic way, right? So this email was actually from “2days” ago and you’re just being anal.

I did the same thing for my Harvard interview because it got buried in a crapload of other college mail so my interviewer sent another email a week later. Just apologize and schedule one anyway. My Harvard one happened today (and I emailed her back yesterday) and it went great so don’t think you’re screwed already.

she meant approx. 3 weeks ago. newb
