OMG The unbelievable happened

I have no clue what Jersey13 is talking about because that thread was deleted.

OP, I’m sorry to say this but you dad sounds like either a) a first-class idiot or b) a control freak. Where the hell did he determine 2340 from? I’m guessing he made it up out of his ass. So according to him if you get a 2330 you can’t pick because you won’t be successful, but if you get 10 more points you will end up being successful in whatever you want? Thats the biggest BS I’ve heard in a while.

An Ivy League education is by no means a be-all, end-all. And what school you go to doesn’t matter all that much. Its what you do at a school and how many opportunities you take advantage of that matters. And doesn’t your dad want you to go to Northwestern? That isn’t Ivy League. Oh and you don’t have to give up your dreams of an Ivy education. What I would do if I were you and didn’t get a 2340: Literally say f’you to my parents and go to a state flagship on a scholarship. From there, I’d go to any graduate school I wanted. But you def. aren’t me. I don’t see how you can see any part of your dad’s argument as “logical.” It’s one of the most nonsensical and dictatorial things I have ever heard of.
