so i just took my SAT reasoning test and for some reason i accidentally started my essay on the SECOND page and wrote the conclusion (around 4 setences) on the FIRST page of the essay section. Will they read from page ONE to TWO or will they understand my accidental error and start from page TWO to ONE? It seems like collegeboard does not open sat-sun :(.

PS: how much do 3 blanks on CR automatically take off out of a potential 800?

3 Omitted = max score of 64, so if Kowloon is right about the mean curve, then yea, around 770. Although, depending on the curve, a 64 could still be an 800.

Unless the people reading your essay are lysdexic, better start praying. Best to err on the side of caution with the praying thing, though. Cover all of your bases: Buddha, Confucius, Tom Cruise. . . . even John Lennon, you never know.

This is the reason:
The essay is scanned in and the scanned images are sent to the reader.
The reader will simply assume that the machine fouled up and put the images in the wrong order.

i was looking back at my previous SAT scores and searching for my essays, and it seems that, even though they do scan the essay, it still has page ONE and page TWO scanned as well.

it clearly stated in the heading to “start on page ONE and continue if you need more space” and also said “IMPORTANT: if you start on page TWO, your essay may appear blank and your score may be affected”

do you still think the readers will overlook…the scanners “mishap?” I think I will call and hopefully ill bs something up so they will understand.
