omg this is gross

take a good close look at your skin with a bright light, arggh,

look in the mirror nice and close, you will be very suprised

but her skin is wrinkley, sun damaged (very!!) and just.. eughh
Those are kind of the pics i look at and vow to myself that i will never go sunbathing again.
(go fake tanning booths!)

fake tanning booths are HORRIBLE...i just read an article about them...they are even banned in some states
I just do the spray on tans...they are awesome and actually dont look orange...if you go somewhere good.

Hey that is ture you know! I haave pores....or at least...at least i think i do...where are they?

pores are usually like next to the nose.. like on the cheeks nearest to the nose but i thought everyone had pores..

superstarr
y r fake tanning booths horrible? Yeah, i go to a place and they have this booth where they spray stuff on you.. isn't that what you do? (seems like it from your description cos thats what i do too). and i've never turned out orange before lol i've seen a girl who did hers manually and got carried away

You know those Neutrogena commercials? I have some friends with PERFECT skin (oh, dear youth). If they took pictures, their skin wouldn't need touch-ups. Sure, they have pores, but their pores are even. I agree with whoever said the model's skin is excessively sun-damaged. Not everybody's skin looks like that!

ohh spray on tans are fine. I am getting one today actually. I was talking about those tanning beds. The ones that you lay in and they shine bad stuff directly on your skin. Those are bad. Spray on tans are a gift from god!

I prefer airbrushing. Who would want to see something like THAT?

The point of this thread is not to show how ugly this model is or how bad her skin is or her belly button or whatever, but how it is pointless and unfair to ourselves if we constantly compare ourselves to models and actors. Because most of it is fake anyways.

She is UGLY! God, why is dhe a model? It seems there days anyone can be a model as long as they put on a ton of makeup and have their photos airbrushed. Even then, they're ugly. I mean those Victoria's Secret models, Adrannna lime, gisel bunchan, hidi clum, and alessandro ambroso or whatever, are so ugly!Like get some beautiful people out there to be models, otherwise get rid of models all together. It's not like we need thema nd besides, there are girls much hotter than those so-called hot models the media likes to make us revere. Sheesh.

The false imagaining that tricks you::

Anna nicle smith is the only one who is pretty without makeup.

What are you talking about?!

Most of those celebs (minus those like Pam Anderson [although for her age...] and Britney) look great without makeup. A TON BETTER then ordinary people, anyway. Catherine is lovely without makeup, and lovelier with it on. But you know what? The impressions of "ugliness" from those stars are their facial expressions. I mean, Alicia Silverstone's non-makeup face is pretty scary, but if she closed her mouth (without food) and smiled, she'd be pretty.

Catherine Zeta Jones looks gorgeous with or without makeup.

Shut the hell up.

THe point is that many celebs have average to above average looks, but with right makeup, hair, lighting, pose, they look quite different and glamorous. Most people don't spend hours and hours getting hair done, makeup done, stylist picking out their clothes. As well, many of the pictures we see in magazines are retouched because people want to by magazines with pretty people in them. If a magazine takes bad pictures of celebs, maybe those celebs won't pose for them. And yet real women are compared to and compare themselves to these fake images. NO ONES skin is perfect or looks like they do in the after photos, yet that is what young girls are told they should look like. Sure they can make choices, but when it is all around and it is FAKE, the goal is unreachable.

Catherine Zeta Jones is pretty, but the resulting look with make up and hair, etc is unattainable by most women.

And the airbrushing, the altering of people for covers, and posed shoots is ridiculous...there was one cover where they put the actress' head on another persons body, without the actress' permission.

cathrine zeta jones is beautiful

come on... r u telling me u look good in EVERY FREAKIN MOMENT OF YOUR LIFE??? people look different all the time... those bad celeb shots are not like.. even regular shots. its like, you with a cold or terrible menstral cramps and just woke up... i mean... dont tell me you look the same at those down moments of your life. celebs dont look like that even if they dont wear make-up on a regular basis, like if there were going to the supermarket or something. GET REAL. those sites are dumb and just trying to get people to visit it so they can make ad money... be an idiot and think celebs are ugly

really... TRUE there's airbrushing for photos, like covers and stuff, but come on, those are PHOTOS... regular pictures without touchups actually a lot of times make people look worse than they really do... "picture really does no justice".. .i think f.scott figtzgerald the gatsby writer guy married this super gorgeous wife that looks really bad on pictures... come ON people... pictures are totally far from real life. dont tell me you think you look exactly the same in real person as you do on pictures, even snapshots

trying to look pretty or "perfect" is not a crime if you do it right... if you workout a lot and get a "new" jessica simpson body, it doesnt harm you does it??? im sure you'd be HAPPY with your new metabolism and healthy lifestyle. if you get a spray on tan and put son makeup on (even though makeup is slightly bad but come on, use a good moisterizer, w/e) does it really harm you THAT much???? if you treat your hair right, make it all silky/smooth no split ends, nice even highlightening... WHAT IS WRONG WITH ALL THAT???? NOTHING!!!!

there is nothing wrong with trying to look pretty. just dont be stupid or idiotic, like fasting. i mean, im not dumb enough to starve or go sunbathing, but i see no harm in trying to look prett. im sure 2 pretty, thin, healthy, fit people have a better sex life than 2 chubby fatsos

without models and stuff... who's gonna motivate me to get washboard abs or nice lean legs?? u think its easy to just tell yourself "im gonna go run 10 miles today"... no... u need motivation from those perfect looking people. without them i'd be sitting on the couch watching tv alll day long...

you should thank them sometimes... cuz i do; cuz of them, im better than "average healthy"... im fit and "really" healthy

um, that was pretty harsh, and I bet you are gonna here from some people that you consider chubby fatso that have a great sex life, and by the way, real men like girls with curves

nothing is wrong with doing anything you mentioned, so don't yell and not cool to make fun of overweight people, not cool at all

what we see are the pictures, its what is out there, and a large percentage are faked up, those ads for makeup- oh faked up, those ads for hair products, faked up, those spray tan ads, faked up...

we are just pointing out the unrealistic images put out there for advertising dollars

define "real men" and define "curves"

real men as in "real fat" men? no thnx i dont want them

haha.. cuz being "thin" or "fit" has nothing to do with having "curves"

my definition of curves is S shaped figure...

cuz i think those swimsuit models have lots of curves... and they're not fat

sort of chubby is okay if its within the healthy range...

but more than "sorta" fat is unhealthy

omg "not cool to makefun of overweight people"

so quit eating mcdonlad or w/e and lose some weight... unless they WANT to be overweight... do something about it, geez

i LIKE my cholesterol level low
i LIKE my blood pressure normal
i LIKE my blood glucose low

if you LIKE being overweight... yeah.... good for u

america is the fattest nation in the world... no wonder people are so sensitive to others making fun of fat people

get a reality check... its not healthy to be overweight!

texas even thought about passing some kinda fat bill for elementary school students, like.. students had to pass a fat test or something... if you're overweight, it shows on your report card.. i dunno if it was passed or not/probably not, but still. people should quit being so sensitive to this issue, get off their a** and do something about it if they're so offended by it. sure it might not be their fault intentionally, and they're also the bad genetics case, but theres medical proceedure for super overweight people; other than THAT, its just a fact of will power.

u lack will power, you cant resist the fat foods, you cant exercise... too bad for you
