<p>ok so i'm going to transfer in spring'11, not this upcoming fall, to UT_Austin as a sophomore.
so i'm going to be a sophomore spring transfer.
how am i going to make friends?!!! like real friends i can text/call randomly when i'm bored and stuff?

<p>yeah it is serious. i guess i’m being a little dramatic…but still i’m scared/nervous as hell!</p>
<p>Join clubs. Talk to people outside of class. I know that even at the big schools, the closer you are to graduating the smaller your classes get. So by junior year you’ll probably have classes where everyone gets to know each other. Do sports. Hell, get involved outside of the university. Austin’s a pretty hip town if I’m not mistaken, a lot of young people either around your age or only a few years out of college.</p>
