<p>So I just submitted my common app + penn supplement online. I am pretty happy, just reading over it after I submit when OMG, I realized that I completely forgot to fill out any of the “PS” squares on the activities portion of the common app. I am not one to get obsessed with the details but I don’t want anything to hurt my chances (esp. since penn is kind of a reach already). With this honestly impact my chances?</p>

Will I receive some kind of email or mail confirmation, perhaps containing a login or password to check my admissions status online? What should I expect after submitting my app?</p>
<p>Well, I don't know what the Penn application says about what PS means, but I know on some applications it only means "post-secondary"... so if you are applying as a senior in high school, you might not have been expected to check any of the boxes anyway. But either way I doubt it would affect you at all.</p>
<p>I'm not positive, but I thought the PS squares were for kids who have already done a semester or more at college. I may be wrong though, I'm a little panicked, too, now :p</p>
<p>I'm curious about how I know my app is in, too. I'm worried about something getting lost and not knowing until the deadline has passed...</p>
