<p>I got into UCLA but rejected from UC-Riverside.. what the hell is that? Talk about randomness..</p>

<p>Stats:
4.0 GPA
Lots of relevant ECs
Finished all pre-reqs for major</p>

<p>Though I doubt UCR has any policy in place to protect their yield...</p>

<p>Yeah npeds, Brown is harder to get into as a transfer (and as a freshmen) than Rice and Chicago.</p>

<p>um....slipper, last year and the few years before, Brown was easier than rice and chicago, which both hover around 25 percent.</p>

<p>Brown all of a sudden took no one.</p>

The UCs don't do that. It was probably a mistake.</p>

<p>It was not that much if a hassle. It took me 45 minutes to do my essays. Haha.</p>

<p>It seemed like a good idea at the time, but I am beginning to have second thoughts. I would love to go Rice. I want to go so badly, but practical concerns are preventing my leaping forward.</p>
