<p>haha this is quite a weird transcript:</p>

<p>gpa: 3.76/4.03 at one of the most competitive schools in MA (top 20%, not too stellar, but it does not include 9th grade gpa b/c i moved to another school 10th grade. 9th grade - all A's)</p>

<p>Also for my gpa, i have upward trend b/c i got all B's soph year b/c i coudln't adjust well to the new school curriculum's difficulty. 4 A's 2 B's junior year.</p>

<p>SAT: 2310
SAT II: 800 math II, 770 Chem
AP's: macro -4, APUSH -5, Stats - 5, BC Calculus -5 (10th grade ^^), Physics Mechanics -5</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Math Team Captain (Our team has been #1 in the state past couple years and also #1 at HMMT november)
4x Aime Qualifer (missed USAMO by 4 pts QQ)
AMC 10 - highest scorer in state - 144
Top 5 in MA math league
PSAT national semifinalist -231
School newspaper
250+ volunteer hours
have work experience
Science team - state team
JV water polo team 9th grade, then moved to new school 10th grade and they didn't have water polo
2 econ classes at BC last summer: close to 100 avg in both classes.
Violin since 5th grade</p>

<p>going on college confidential and looking at people’s stats scares the crap out of me, not gonna lie. but what do i know? i’m totally new here!</p>

<p>i think your numbers ad ec’s are what put you on the table (you’ve got a great concentration in math stuff!) but your essay is what will make you really stand out. are you confident about that?</p>

<p>my only concern is that you’re ed’ing at a business school but you don’t really have a lot of businessy stuff. econ classes definitely help, but do you have anything else business/leadership/innovation related? just wonderin.</p>

<p>uhmm, our school has FBLA but i didn’t participate b/c it’s a giant waste of time (in our state at least). My friend was in it and told me there were only 3 ppl in the state in his event and it was not competitive at all.</p>

<p>my school doesn’t offer anything else biz/econ related for extracurriculars :(</p>

Awesome SAT’s, terrific math EC’s (gj for HMMT), and lots of volunteering. I think you’re in at Stern.</p>
