<p>AHHHHH I just can't get an A in bc calc and I think I'll have to take the final. My only final, I think, in all 6 of my AP classes :(</p>
<p>Being vale/salu/3rd, I feel absolutely crushed and pathetic that this class has owned me this year. gaaaaaaah. and our teacher's a small, remorseless, ridiculously tough asian. </p>

<p>If you get an A you don’t have to take the final? Lol I wish my school was that easy. Finals destroy my grades.</p>

<p>Well, you can skip the finals only if you’re a senior and you get an A for 2nd semester</p>

<p>That’s only in some schools. In my school, if you take the AP exam, you don’t have to take the final unless your grade is borderline (two A’s and two B’s, for example), and you want to take the final to solidify your grade.</p>
<p>In my school it doesn’t matter whether it’s an AP class or not; if you’re a senior and your average is above an ~85 (& the teacher doesn’t hate you), you don’t have to take the final.</p>
<p>It’s also mandatory to take the AP exam after taking the class in my school, so none of the teachers give an actual final.</p>
<p>At my school you have to take the final no matter what your grade is… AP or not.</p>
<p>I have a C in AP Calc… I envy you. At least you won’t have to study too hard to keep an A?</p>
