What is there to do at UCSB besides party and go to downtown SB?

play club sports

I’m not the most athletically inclined <_<

there’s always something prepared for weekends by IV dark (events sanctioned by the school)
in any case, there’s always other sober people to hang out with.

I can’t really think of much to do in IV/SB sober, I mean I’m from a big city (LA) and there is always plenty to do, but when I go to smaller towns and places like SB (been to Humboldt U and UC Davis overnight multiple days) there is never something to do.

What kind of stuff do you like to do in LA? If you list your interests we might be able to suggest what the Santa Barbara area has to offer.

More to the point, what do you think kids at other colleges are doing that you won’t find at UCSB?

^eat @ Freebird’s. haha

Go chill with kenny B)

but i just killed kenny. i’m a ■■■■■■■

Usually drive around, go to promenades, visit LA spots to eat/shop/ect.

Well I’m sure people at USC, UCLA, NYU, Columbia, et al have a lot more fun in the big city.

There are also plenty of academic/interest clubs on campus that host weekend events for members. Friday or Saturday there’s usually a $4 movie in IV and UCSB Arts and Lectures hosts some neat music, dance and other events. And certainly you can find sufficient places to drive around, walk and eat/shop/etc. For the most part, I have to say I simply hung out with my friends (and had plenty of fun).

For the absolute bestest weekends you will ever have @ UCSB,

hang out with me, kenny. :P
