On a scale of 1-10 (1 being IE, and 10 being EE), where does the difficulty of B.S. Energy Enng lie?

I’m a student from VA, and I want to probably do business-technology in college, but another area that I’m passionate about is renewables, and the PSU-UP Energy Engg program really stood out. It is the better of 2 ENE programs in the country (the other being UNT in Denton). I’m passionate about this major, but I’m a bit worried about the difficulty of this major. Is it more difficult that EE or ME or CompE, or is it less? I don’t want to risk failing college because of an Engg major, and are the Phys, Chem, Calc and EE, MSE classes absolute killers? Thanks.

Energy Engineering at Penn state is under the earth and minerals college. It’s a controlled major and as I follow my son (Petroleum Eng) at penn State it’s all about doing the work if you want the grade! It’s a lot of work!
