I'm going to be living in New this fall and I was wondering how to find out my on campus address? Like, what address should I use if I were having something shipped to me? And do I use a different address for packages vs. letters? Thanks.

I've never lived in on-campus housing, but it would appear that the street address for New/North is 635 USC McCarthy Way, Los Angeles, CA 90007. Someone else may be able to confirm that. Mail will need to have a room number on it as well, but you won't know that detail until move in day.

The mailing address for packages is the same, you will just receive a slip in your box that a package is waiting for you. Packages don't have to have a room number, because the building staff can look you up in the directory. However, be sure nothing you are shipping arrives before Wednesday's move in day because the school will not accept it.

You will most likely get a letter before move-in day with your on-campus address on it and how to address packages so it'll get to you safely.

Hmm, I thought the address for New was 635 W 35th St. At least that's the address given for the orientation accommodations in New. But I could be wrong, I frequently am.

Ned5555 is right:

635 USC McCarthy Way, Los Angeles, CA 90007

You'll get the address, but you won't know your room number (actually this may have changed this year because of the online housing thing) until you get to the dorm (or the room number might change) if something gets there before YOU DO , they wont keep it for you (i don't know what they will do with it but) or they won't be responsible for whatever got there before you do.

Room number is important because they look at that rather than focusing on your name. That's why we get whole bunch of junk mail for past students in our mailbox...
