On Campus Bank

I think I remember from the tour that Wachovia is on campus, but I can't find confirmation online of this. Is there another bank on campus and where can I find info? I have been accessing the portal but it does not seem to have the answers that I want.

Thanks

LEHIGH UNIV.-ULRICH CENTER
39 UNIVERSITY DR.,
BETHLEHEM, PA 18015

Thanks again Stitch! Is that the only bank on campus?

It looks like it's the only ATM on the campus itself: Lehigh University:

The Ulrich Student Center houses the Office of Student Activities, Student Organization Accounts, ID Office, Post Office and individual student boxes, an ATM machine, offices for University Productions, Leadership Office, Community Service Office, Student Senate, and the university radio station WLVR.

There are other ATMs in South Bethlehem as well.

No "bank" on campus, only the Wachovia ATMs. There are several on campus -- Campus Square, Ulrich Center, Iacocca Hall, University Center. There is a Wachovia close by.

The previous post is incorrect. There is a Wachovia Bank located on the second floor of the UC (University Center). It is recommended that you get Wachovia since there is a bank as well as several ATMs scattered around campus.

My bad. Knew from visits that there was more than one ATM on campus -- got the information from Wachovia's website -- Wachovia's website says ATM at UC.

Thanks tino, I knew they mentioned a bank on the tour. Should I open an account at a Wachovia near me or wait until I get to campus?

My daughter set up her account at home before leaving for Lehigh. This way she had her ATM card before school started. We bank with Wachovia, so it was very easy to set up her student checking.

One less thing to worry about as a freshman.

Wachovia used to advertise account set ups where the parents could be notified if accounts were getting close to being overdrawn. Haven't seen that ad recently. We didn't do that because my daughter was very responsible and she wanted to feel more in charge of her money. It's her checking account to manage.
