How is housing on campus? Are there any major differences between dorms? I have no real knowledge of housing at Umich, so anything will help :) thanks

I am no expert. The dorms are all different. Many are old classic buildings with shared bathrooms and some are suite style with shared bathrooms. North Quad in new and beautiful. I was in West Quad and liked it. The only place I have heard negative things about are the dorms and apartments on North Campus.

Here are some opinions

This is 100% accurate and any current student would agree with it (excluding maybe the placement of EQ - Markley).

Dorms:

North Quad > South Quad > West Quad > East Quad > Alice Lloyd > MoJo > Couzins > Markley >>>>> Bursley > Oxford > Baits >>>> Northwood.

Not sure where the all-girls dorms fit in, but their location is awesome so It’d be nice.

My personal preference would be West Quad>South Quad>North Quad>Markley>East Quad>MoJo/Couzens>Bursley>Baits>Oxfordd>Northwood

North Quad>Stockwell>South Quad>MoJo>Markley>Cousins>Lloyd>West Quad>East Quad>Bursley>Oxford>Northwood>Baits
