<p>I am going to be a high school senior this September. Some of the schools I am interested in offer optional interviews for prospective students. My question is, should I do the on-campus interview, or wait until the Fall to do the interview over Skype? What would/did you do? Thanks!!</p>
<p>If you have already planned a trip to be at the school or nearby, then sure, if you can swing by, go for it. See the school, let them “sell” you.</p>
<p>Otherwise, save your time and money. The interviews are the tiniest portion of your overall evaluation and 90% of the time, have no bearing whatsoever. Indeed, they are fully optional – many students getting accepted w/o an interview.</p>
