On campus student housing

I’m going to be a sophomore transfer student next year and being that it’s my first year, I would like to live on campus. Does anyone know of any dorms that have a lot of transfer students or sophomore level transfers? Not that I’d mind making friends with people that are freshman, but I’d much rather have some that are incoming to the college like me as a transfer. I’m also out of state so I don’t know anyone in the area. The only person I do know is my friend that’s coming with me, but she’s a girl so we wouldn’t be able to room together. Any suggestions? Thanks!

OH! And what’s the food like in the dorms? :)

Dorm food differs based on campus location. South typically has the best/most choices (market place, union market, commons, mirror lake), North has decent options (Fresh express, burritos noches, commons), and west has limited options (fresh express morril).

As a transfer student, I would try to live on South campus with many of the incoming freshmen–that way you all start out on the same page.

Hope that helps!
