Okay, so my two best friends and I are planning on living off campus, given the fact that it's a lot more cheaper (or so we've heard) and I feel it'll make us feel a lot more independent living off campus.

However, we don't know where to start off.

Gainesville place sounds great, just they don't allow dogs, which we have one.

We're looking for a place with
-3/3 bed and baths
-Furnished
-Close to UF (walking distance, or bus transportation)
-Individual Leasing
-Less than $250 a month for each of us.
-Dogs allowed.

Is it a lot to ask for? Or should we just start off living on campus?

Hmm well I don’t think Gainesville Place does 3/3 I think they just have 2/2 and 4/4. Living off campus is cheaper but living on campus for atleast a year is a good idea.
There is an article on swampit with someone giving good info about on vs off campus, check it out:
[On-campus vs. Off-campus - Swampt It](http://www.swampit.com/topic/269)

Try Campus Club. It’s literally right down the street from UF, but it IS more than $250 per month. Campus Club is where I’ll be living and it is the cheapest apartments you will find in Gainesville. BUT my best friend and I toured them and they are beautiful. We can’t wait to live there. They are about $375 per month. BUT it comes fully furnished and that price includes utilities. :)

Id reccomend living on campus for the first year. You dont really need to feel independent. You need to go get active and meet people, which is a lot easier living on campus. Most apartments are 4 people so you might just have to settle and find someone else or get a random person assigned. Ha good luck with the whole 250 thing. The cheepest apartments are usally about 400 a month
