On CCers bookshelf and folders

I think would be helpful to compile a list of books or articles that we have found useful in our college search, app. process, SAT/ACT,etc.

I'll start:

Fiske Guide to Colleges by Edward B. Fiske
What Colleges Don't Tell You by Elizabeth Wissner-Gross
Eassays that will get you into College by Barron's

and ofcoure the PR, CB and "real ACT" for SAT/ACT prep

Keep the list going

The CollegeHumor Guide to College

Seriously, there's a ridiculous but light-hearted proposition for college applications that would relieve the stress of any college-bound senior.

The Ivey Guide to Law School Admissions by Anna Ivey (former Dean of Admissions University of Chicago Law School). Even though it is a book about the law school admissions process, there is a lot of really good information that can be transferred to the college admissions process

What's wrong with you people? Obviously all you need is a copy of USNWR taped to your wall, plus a totem of whatever religion you belong to to pray you're accepted as high up the list as possible...
