On Drexel Waiting List

<p>Hello all, I just checked my Drexel application status and I got the standard message of:</p>

<p>"We have evaluated your file and are pleased to inform you that you are now on our waiting list for admission to Drexel University. An official letter will be sent to you by mail shortly."</p>

<p>My SAT scores are as follows:</p>

<p>480 Reading, 580 Math, 490 Writing</p>

<p>I am maintaining a GPA of ~3.8, and I'm just curious what my chances of acceptance are. I'd also like to know how long it usually takes to receive a decision. Google searches tell me from a few years back people were informed as late as July, but I couldn't find any more recent information.</p>

<p>I don’t know how much they weigh SAT’s vs. GPA but to be honest your SAT’s are pretty low… maybe if you retook them in March and sent the scores it would help? I applied there (didn’t go) and got almost a full ride on a merit scholarship with a 2140 but with a lower gpa then you so if you can bring your scores up it would probably help…</p>
