<p>God damn. I’m a freaking idiot. Why am I finding this out today, of all days? This is officially the most offline “online” application in the history of the universe.</p>
<p>If they get all the important stuff, like the real content of my application (submitting online today), will they mind if my signature doesn’t get there for a few days past the deadline?</p>

<p>I just took mine to the post office today too.</p>
<p>The Post Office is open today on January 1st (and on a Sunday?)</p>
<p>The doors are always open. I just went inside and dropped it in the mailbox. The mail probably won't be collected until Tuesday, but oh well, not a whole lot I can do at this point.</p>
<p>Yeah, somethingsmellsfunny, I had the same exact FREAKING PROBLEM. It p.i.s.s.ed the crap out of me, because when I logged out yesterday I saw that and I'm like "OH CRAP THE POST OFFICE CLOSES IN 15 MINUTES" so I followed the link and it led me to an old form from 2003, but I had to go, so I signed it, stuffed it in an envelope, and went. I hope it's okay, because I really don't want this to screw up my app...</p>
<p>heh, i just found out theres this thing too... right before i'm about to pay my money and stuff.</p>
<p>Apparently, if you did Part 1 via mail and Part 2 online (thats what I did and I think it puts me in the minority), this signature was included in Part 1 and there's no worries.</p>

<p>sorry for scaring you there. you may be a minority, but here it seems that the minority is the smarter group! you probably got an opportunity to interview, too... darn you people who were on the ball with this stuff!</p>
<p>Actually, good news about that. I called the interview office, and RD interviews arent scheduled until mid-January. Because you know there are kids who submit Part 1 early and then just change their minds and never follow through. </p>
<p>So while you may be freaking out about this, you may not be screwed for an interview :)</p>
