On or Off Campus Housing for transfer students?

<p>I was wondering if its more economical to live on or off campus for transfer students. Any transfer students experienced either of them. if off-campus, is it possible to find a room thats $300 -$400 range rent in close by the campus.</p>

<p>Personally, I’m choosing to go through the housing office - mostly due to the ease and simpleness it provides. At roughly $650 a month for a single room of a four room apartment its out of your price range, but I doubt you’ll be able to find anything respectable within that price range. What are you leaning towards?</p>
