<p>Here I go again on another rant. I'm disappointed by these threads where some of you are trying to choose a college by its "ranking". Each ranking, you should know, is made by a student who may be biased, or is organizing the colleges by how many GEs are needed or how easy the writing program is. This is all bullcrap. Choose a college based on your interests and goals, not by how easy it will be. It'll help you in the long run. Not sure what each college is exactly? Look around on the website. Read about each of the writing programs. Want to take as less GE's as possible? It's your loss. The more classes you take in fields different from your interest, the better. You'll begin to realize how related each of your classes can be. </p>
<p>The colleges can't be ranked, they are all special and different. A history buff would love ERC. Engineers and computer science majors would probably prefer Warren, but I'm sure anyone non-science/math would be okay in Warren also. I'm biased because I'm in Sixth and have enjoyed my experience this far, so I would say go for Sixth!</p>
<p>Even in the case of the dorms, I'd say all the dorms are fairly alright, even the old ones. If anything, the ERC dorms I guess are "newer", but I wouldn't necessarily choose them over other colleges. </p>
<p>I hope you go beyond these CC threads to make these decisions, and I hope you take these "rankings" with a grain of salt. It'll benefit you in the end.</p>
