I have an on site admission for a college on Friday. Basically, the college reviews my application in front of me and gives me a decisions right away. For anyone that has experienced this before, is it going to be like an interview? Will they ask me questions about my application? Or will it just be smooth and quick?
Smooth and quick – they want to enroll you if you meet criteria – remember: you’re the potential source of 4+ years of tuition and fees. They WANT you (and your money)
Which college / university is this for?
@thatrunnerkid Grand Valley State University
I believe the avg ACT is ~ 23 or so. If you’re in that area and have a decent GPA, you should be a shoo-in. Great value for the money and beautiful part of the state. If your ACT is 28 or above – they have some nice merit scholarships, I recall.
Yep, smooth and quick it is. Good luck
Are all on site admissions interviews the same? I have one for Oneonta in about two weeks.
Not necessarily. Some schools offer simply an interview. Some offer an interview and, if the student is impressive enough, the ability to offer an immediate offer. Usually done w/schools that are very GPA/test score based evaluations.
Thanks
How did that Oneonta interview go?
