why dont we post our stats in relation to our time posted?

5:35

4.91/5 GPA W
34 ACT
Ex-admission officier rec letter.
Extra curriculurs/community service up the wazoo (presidential gold volunteer service award sophomore year, athletics 4 years per season)
strong essays
medium teacher recs
good interview.

sorry for my lack of depth but thats a fair outline.

in the other thread, where we’ve already speculated about this, one person who was deferred EA said after EA decisions were released everyone tried to correlate admissions decisions with time of entry… They found no correlation… They probably have too many applicants to enter all of them at the same time, thus the two different times…

I was worried the 5:35 meant no, but after looking at some stats I’m beginning to speculate it means nothing. Also, ready4college123 has some experience with this situation.

1:16 here too but I have pretty low chance International/ applying for a lot of aid/ mediocre essay/ mediocre scores. Last name begins with H.
Maybe the decisions are submitted by the regional admissions officers ?

“Thank you for applying to Duke University.
You have our best wishes as you complete your senior year.”

I just read in another thread that someone had “We look forward to seeing you this fall” or something like that…would they make it that obvious??

one of my friends who is a pathetic applicant (got rejected from boston university arts and sciences lol) who wrote crap essays is getting 1:16. it DEFINATELY doesn’t mean anything. I’m also getting 1:16 btw.

We should see if the times mean anything when decisions come out on Monday. The only times are 5:35 and 1:16, that I’ve seen so far, so maybe this means acceptance or denial? Of course, it might mean nothing but I’m very interested in knowing if it means anything.
