I was accepted to IU's journalism program back in October. I wasn't too excited, just because IU is my safety and I knew I was going to get in.

My first choice is a Top 20 in the World university in the United Kingdom and I really, really want to go, but there are complications with my student visa/passport + it's much more difficult to get student loans for schools across the pond.

I looked into IU and I've only heard good things about it, but I'm still really on the fence about attending if my first choice doesn't work out. I think it's mostly because IU is known as a real party school and I'm not quite sure how that'll affect me when I try getting a job. Plus, I live in New York City and I don't know how well I'd adjust to Bloomington. Overall there's really nothing keeping me from wanting to attend other than its reputation. Don't get me wrong, I like partying, but I'd like to challenged intellectually as well. Not to mention the great price tag IU comes with for out-of-state students and even with the scholarship, it will be a lot of money.

Any thoughts on what I should do?
