I know many threads like this one pop up, especially at this time...

My top 2 choices are Michigan and Northwestern.

My second semester senior year (estimated):
AP Chemistry-C+ (I cannot get any higher, I know this)
AP Spanish-A
AP Literature-A
Advanced Physics-No idea, but B+ is likely.
AP Government-B+ (Might be A, but I'm pretty sure it'll be B+)
AP Statistics-B
Band-A
Jazz Band-A

Is that bad enough to raise caution flags? If so, how can I negotiate with my teachers?

for what it’s worth, i already received a C+(american lit), and 2 B’s (AP calculus BC, AP psychology) second semester junior year, before colleges accepted me. my GPA that semester was 3.55, and I think as long as I do better than that, I should be relatively safe…

I think you’re fine. I don’t know anything about Michigan or Northwestern, but the letters I got from colleges (including NYU and UNC-CH) have said that as long as we maintain the same level of achievement, we’re fine. Rescinding is probably for those who go from As and Bs to Ds, or at least something more drastic than what you’ve posted. So don’t worry too much, and good luck on those :)
