Hey, thanks to everyone in advance for reading this. I was hoping that some of you would look at my stats, schedule and ECs and tell me what I should add to make myself a more competitive applicant.

Junior/Public School in Alaska
Mexican - I look more Spanish than anything...but full Mexican nonetheless!
GPA: 3.9
rank: 15/550 (underclassman aren't allowed to take APs, so it'll even out next year)

Junior Year Schedule: just want to note that 5 APs in a single year is unheard of at my school

AP Lang and Comp
AP Euro
AP Psych
AP French
AP Spanish (on apex)
Physics
PreCalc

SATs and ACT: I haven't taken them yet! Will take them twice next year for sure though.
SAT IIs: Haven't taken these yet either. Planning on taking French, Lit and Spanish (probably not Spanish because it may look lazy since I'm a native speaker. any suggestions?)

ECs
-School Board---I'm the student representative to the school board, so I represent about 50,000 students. I'm given the opportunity to meet with the legislature, governor, etc. This is the EC I'll write a brief description on.

-Student Government, freshman rep., sophomore class president, junior class president, possible student body president (that's a year from now though), Talent Show committee chair, Alaska Association of Student Governments Registrar ($20,000 conference held in a different region of Alaska each year where reps from every student gov. in Alaska meets. my school was selected this year)

-Student Advisory Board, one of three delegates from my high school

-Youth Section of local newspaper, writer (freshman), editor (sophomore to senior year)

-National Honor Society, Recycling Club, Model UN, Beta Club, Key Club

-I'm looking for somewhere to volunteer. I'm hoping I find a translator position (Spanish) to help people who can't speak English fluently. If that doesn't work out, then possibly habitat for humanity or the library.
