On the right track =)

Hello,

I have a 4.0 so far in community college, and am 50% through this semester and will likely get 6 A's or at least 4 A's 2 B's.

I have one more year until I am ready to transfer.

I also run a business on the side, and am going to start volunteering ASAP.

I currently attend a california CC and am looking at transfer options, maybe out of state.

Will schools like NYU and northeastern or other prestigious school that dont charge insane amounts for out of state look at my app? I'm not an extraordinary student honestly, I dont even feel that smart. I am just dedicated.

It’s possible. I think they look at everyone’s application.

Both these schools charge the same amount for IS and OOS students because they’re private. But that doesn’t mean they’re inexpensive.

At NYU, tuition & fees alone are almost 44k this year, and their need based FA is known to be very poor, both for fr and transfers. NEU is 40k and has a couple of merit scholarships for transfers.

These tuition rates are pretty much on par with many privates. You are lucky to have so many great transfer options in CA.
