Man, I've been doing CR practice questions lately and wow I'm getting so freaking frustrated. Seriously, I've been preping for months now and my CR still hasn't improved and its HORRENDOUS (low-mid 500s). The vocab section, yeah, my vocabulary isn't too great so I miss a few but I don't think that's the main problem. My problem lies in the passages...I mean I usually read the whole thing (and try to understand it) then move on to the questions. But sometimes I'm not really getting the passage and often times I'm not getting the details.

I've tried quite a few techniques to improve my CR but I still suck at it. Could you guys give me some genuine advise on how to approach the passages and improve my comprehension of the passages! It'd be great thanks.

OMFG, dude. Go read a book you dunce. No, actually go read 10 books. Memorize over five thousand words then come back to this forum to update everyone with your pointless issues.

Don't have the time? But you have the time to complain about your score not augmenting?

An average person could memorize a lot of words in an hour. Go utilize your time wisely, to the best of your benefit than indulging yourself to this website.

Remember, your score will not improve if you're on this site.

Not much to say man.....What works for us won't necessarily work you too bro. Find a technique you like and stick with it. I've been doing additional prep with the 10RS book and I guess it's been working well. Probably memorizing some words from like Direct Hits or Rocket Review would be cool to you too. Most of the time it seems the hard questions are missed due to a lack of vocabulary...

It's not just reading a book, either. You have to make sure you are focused and annotate a lot. Annotating brings out the main ideas and makes sure that you are not only awake but conscious during the process. I'm sure you've all heard the maxim: "Perfect practice makes perfect".
