<p>people here will say the CR is an innate ability or that you build it up by reading a lot. NOT TRUE…I raised my score from 610 to 720 by just taking practice tests, and I am not a native english speaker.</p>

<p>^Half agreed. CR ability is by no means innate, but it does help to be a fluent reader. You also want to take practice tests, buy good prep books, and memorize vocab. A search of these forums will provide you with lists of good prep books, strategies, and related discussions.</p>

<p>Dude, I am in the same situation. But, do as they say, and it will improve. I will know for sure Oct. 23 though. :D</p>
