Once Sent, Can't Change?

Pretend you fill out the commonapp (with all your info, essays, etc), and you submit it to, say, cornell. Now, pretend you want to change something for another college. Can you do this?

anyone have an answer?

These are the official CommonApp instructions, as quoted from their site:

[quote]
Once you submit an application to an institution, you will no longer be able to change the information submitted to that institution. It is possible to change the information in an application before re-submitting the application to other institutions, but there is no need to do so unless you need to correct an error. In general, the Common Application is designed to be completed once and submitted to all a student’s colleges at once or over a period of time.

You can submit a custom Common Application version to each college to which you apply. First, submit the application to one institution. You then will have an option to create alternate versions. All of your information will be on the alternate (and you will be able to edit all info) version except your essays - you can attach custom versions or the same version.

Post your question on the Common Application forum with a title such as "Alternate Versions" Or "Custom Versions" and you will get specific answers.
