Once you've been rejected from a school is it harder to get in reapplying? I am curious.

I believe it is a schools duty to stay impartial from previous applications. Also, the likelyhood of them remembering a single application from hundreds of thousands of other applications isn’t very high.

The only reason I could see them having is that they may question what you did in the interim time between the application and the previous rejection.

Well, they will certainly know that you applied. Their system will notice it, plus most applications ask “Have you applied here before?”

However, I cannot imagine how/why a previous rejection would influence your application in any way. A new application is reviewed like a new application, whether or not you have applied before.

In fact, the determination may be a bit of a positive (well, depending on the selectivity of the school). Someone who applies a second time reallly wants to be there.

Assuming they your credentials remained static or improved in the time between, I would say you have a better shot. I think so because a second app would show your dedication to attending that school. Colleges like that.
