One bad essay

I was just looking over my NYU supplement essays again, and I realized that one of them wasn't that great. The message was good, but i would've used different diction if I could write it again. How much of an effect do you think one bad essay would have. By the way it was the essay asking about which part of your application you would highlight if you were an adcom. Thanks.

it doesn't make any difference discussing what you put down on that application as you can't change it anymore. Just don't look too much into it and wait for the decisions to come out. They won't just reject you based on that "one bad essay."

It didn't keep me out. Coach told me today that I got in.

Congratulations!

supplement ones if i do remember exactly, was round 150-300 words or so (very short..around a paragraph..) i doubt they'll kick you out for writing a bad essay-paragraph..

and congrats! I havent heard yet so I'm getting scared...
