I’m normally a A-/B+ student (maybe got a C/C+ once or twice) but in senior year first semester I finished with and A- over all and in second semester I have all A-'s, a B/B+ (potentially an A- if my teacher rounds), and one C- (potentially a C) in an AP class (a computer science course) because I got overwhelmed with my other classes (2 other APs as well as a handful of different types of classes like model united nations, etc.) . The year is already over and I graduate soon. Will my college rescind me for that C-?? I’m terrified because I didn’t expect to get any C’s in the first place.
You should be fine as long as the C- doesn’t complicate any credit requirements that the college might have.
If it were a D in a core class like Bio or English, that’s cause for concern. But I think you’re safe as the most stringent admissions policy that I know of requires students to get C-'s or above in all classes.
Check your college’s website but the general rule is no d or F grades.
No F’s, D’s. or Felonies. Other than that you will be fine.
Thanks everyone! I feel much better about it now.
