Ok so i took 3 sat 2's. Two of them are in par for colleges like MIT etc.
But my physics is just terrible. I am not sure how it happened. Now i realize MIT and many other such colleges are looking for only 2 SAT 2. So will this crazy bad score hurt my application, or will they only look at top 2 scores.
When i mean bad score i mean real bad. like in mid 600's lol.

its mit dude...physics and math 2 are almost like requirements...
yes i would say that physics would look bad at MIT but maybe not at some other schools.

I guess it will hurt you because its physics that you bombed and *MIT *that you're applying to. Then again, there is that belief that they ONLY look at your top 2 scores. Which I don't understand because it's right in front of them with the rest of the other scores...

Anyways if you happen to be class of '10, all this wouldn't matter because you can choose which SAT scores to send :)

yeah i know. I don't know how i bombed physics so badly. I did well in chem though and math 2. I am retaking physics, lets see what happens.
I ain't class of 10, i am class of 09 :(

yeah, I'm kinda p*ssed that the selective sending thing only starts with the class of 10. I have 3 scores at or above 790 and one 620 :( (in math IIC). But I took the 790 one and the math IIC on the same date, so I can't cancel the math without canceling my good score (which I'm pretty dang proud of, thankyou! )

I hope that your physics retake goes well!!!! I took the Bio and the Math II so that I could apply to MIT, but my math SAT II and SAT I scores are very weak, so I've given up...

Trickstylez, at least you did better than me. Math I, I got a 600. I had a migraine, but no calculator. I should have canceled my scores......

Good luck with your retest!
