<p>I had a horrible first semester during my junior year, straight C's. But my grades during the previous semsters and the semester after were A's/B's. Should I explain the drop in the additional information page?</p>
<p>If there is a valid reason for the drop. Like if you were sick and out of school for 3 months or something, then I would explain it, but if you just got lazy and stopped trying, your screwed. Also, i believe there is a section on your counselor recommendation where they can say anything that they think nyu needs to know and your counselor should put something there explaining it so it just doesnt look like your trying to cover if you actually have a valid reason for the drop.</p>
