One C on Midyear Report, will it hurt chances at ivies?

<p>Its going to be a C in an AP class. i've never gotten below an A on any final grade..and all my other grades will be B+ or higher on the midyear report. i'm applying to mostly ivies and i'm worried that this grade will greatly diminish my chances...what do you guys think?</p>

<p>You can't tell what will affect the decisions. You will never find out either what got you in, or what kept you out. Apply and hope for the best.</p>

<p>I am in the same situation. I got a C in my AP Bio II class for midyear and am extremely worried about how it will be viewed by my colleges.</p>

<p>No, seriously, stop with this nonsense. No application decision hangs on to whether you got a C or not in ONE class. If you got rejected this C will be the least of the reasons.</p>
