So, junior year has been an extremely WEIRD year for me. Ever since elementary school, I’ve gotten straight A’s relatively easily. I never really struggled with any classes, but this year was the first year I’ve ever gotten a B. This class, AP Bio, has been one of the hardest classes I’ve ever taken, not because of subject matter, but because of the lack of decent teaching. Now, I am in my second semester dearly hanging on to a B and I really don’t know if it will drop to a C any time soon. If I have straight A’s and one C sticking out, will my chances at Ivy league schools be damaged? Will admissions officers understand this unusual circumstance? Thank you!
Ivy leagues yeah. Top 20s for the most part probably not. Honestly it depends on your total unweighted GPA. If it’s a 3.9+ your fine everywhere.
If it’s a 3.8+ your fine everywhere but HYPSM
