one distraught person.

i took the sat today and i felt like i did absolutely horrible. just this morning i felt fairly confident that if i took my time, i would do well. from all my practice tests i was able to finish all questions on time and score decently. but after today's real thing, i felt like i didnt even score a 1500. i left quite a few blank on the reading just because i had no idea what the author's were saying. it seemed the selections were harder than ever. i read on cc that the april test is supposedly much harder so there is a bigger "curve" (i didnt even know there were curves on the sat) is there such a thing? i thought all sat tests were suppose to be the same level of difficulty and scored by the same scale. im just so worried. should i cancel my scores?

Um... reading shouldn't have been a problem, it's always that difficult. Math was the hardest part of the test. Writing was actually easier than usual.

If this is your first time, don't cancel. You can always raise your scores, and it's better to know what you got so that you can focus on your worse sections for next time.
