One easy class to add to meet credit hr requirement?

Hi. I'm currently taking 14 credit hrs.
However, I want to have 1 more credit hr just in case I drop a class and become a part-time student as a result.

So, I'm looking for a course I can add as a ChE major just so I can have to option of dropping a class. Preferably, I would want a music class, but it seems like all the classes are taken or they're restricted... So..what class should I take? I really want an easy A class... please Help!!

**i don't care if it counts towards my major as long as i can actually take it and it is easy.

Even though you are transferring out of CHE, why not take CHE 102? It’s not even for a grade… just pass/fail. No homework, just one hour per week, and it’s really interesting. Plus, if for some reason you are stuck in CHE, then you won’t regret not taking it!

I like soadquake’s idea ^^^

If you decide to add a 3-credit course because you can’t find a 1-credit coures you want to take, here are a few ideas:

Did you enjoy your high school biology? If so, there are openings in Biology of AIDS and this would likely be easy for you. BIO 307D BIOLOGY OF AIDS Designed for nonscience majors. Introduction to organs, cells, genes, viruses, infectious diseases, and the immune system. Basic biology of HIV, AIDS, and epidemiology. May not be counted toward a degree in biology.

That is a general way to get an easy A, a way that usually works - find a class for non-majors in a subject that is not your college major but that you did well in during high school.

The business foundations courses at UT are supposed to be easy. There are openings in the Business Foundations MIS class, MIS 302F INTRO TO INFO TECH MGMT-NONMAJ if by any chance that is interesting to you.

If by any chance you did well in high school Spanish classes, I have heard that Intro to Italian is easy for students who are good at Spanish, and there are openings in Intro Italian for fall. (It might be possible to take an intro class in a language you have taken previously, but I think UT is likely to want you to move on to a more advanced level of the language.)

By the way, if you dropped a class, you could add an on line extension class to prevent yourself from becoming a part time student, but you’d have to pay tuition (about $500 I think) for it. That might be a plausible fall back option for you.
CHE102 is ‘waitlisted.’ I think it’ll be hard for me to get in… :[

And I looked up Bio307D and only 19% got A’s!!!

It’s kind hard to pick a class that I can take…:[[[

Also, When’s the last day I can drop a class?
Is it possible for me to drop a class if I did poorly on the midterm?
