Well, just in case being medically turned back twice is not enough, they’ve now “lost” my son’s paperwork. In fact, they’ve lost his whole folder. He’s been sitting in the lost squadron since July 5th watching other turnbacks come and go. Two phone calls to the Basic Cadet Command Center suggested there was some confusion with paperwork last week, but they assured me his name would be called tonight. Then he had a meeting today with a Colonel who finally admitted that they lost his folder and they’re working to recreate it. Then she informed him that he won’t be outprocessed until early next week at best. So this will be his third weekend staring at four walls. He is at the end of his rope and I can’t say I blame him. We’re all incredibly frustrated that he’s stuck in this situation and no one can do a dang thing about it.

USAFA2010Dad - our hearts go out to you and Jeff. I can't imagine how hard it is for him or for you as you wait at home while Jeff is stuck at USAFA. What a difficult time for you all. We will pray that it will be resolved quickly. Please keep us posted...

Any new news Jeff?

FYI that I heard from Jeff yesterday and that his son Jeff is on his way home finally after nearly three weeks in the Lost Squadron awaiting his turnback paperwork.....

Thanks for the update

Jeff is now home, arrived this morning on the red eye, no worse for wear. He's glad to finally be home and we're glad to have him, although he wishes he was participating in the Warrior Run out of Jack's on Saturday.

Thanks for all the well wishes.

Yes, wish him the best from all of his fans here !!!!!

What a guy! All he's been through and he still wishes he were on the Warrior Run. May whatever he does next be great for you all.
