<p>Considering the fact that Davis has seen a 23% spike in OOS/Intl applicants and only a 4% overall applicant rise, what do you guys think my chances are? Thanks!</p>
<p>I think that you stand a fairly good chance at UC Davis but I’m not sure if your chances are great for UCSD. I was not aware of the increase of oos/intl students though for davis, so I’m not sure how that will play in. I doubt you are going to be negatively affected by that though tbh. chance back? I’m a uc-to-uc transfer also! my stats:</p>

-Tutor in various subjects (math, biology, chemistry, history) for underprivileged middle school/high school students for a college program called Reality Changers.
-Paid internship at a Bioinformatics/Chemoinformatics company since May, very relevant to both the fields of Applied Mathematics and of Developmental Biology
-Currently doing a Sophomore Honors research project on the neurobiology of fruit flies and the effectiveness of male fly pheromone in the absence of all other sensory stimuli.
-Active member of Bioscholars Honors Society at my school, which is invite only.
-Active member of Habitat for Humanity. Nearly 100 hours of community service completed.
-Active member of AMSA, pre-med club. 30-40 Hours of community service completed.</p>

-All Lower Division GE’s will be complete by spring, satisfying the UC Reciprocity agreement.

<p>Thanks for chancing me! And you are golden for both UCLA and UCB in my opinion. Math isn’t impacted at either, so if you don’t get in… idk, I’d go slap the admissions officers for not taking you in with that GPA hahaha.</p>
