One month left, still not a consistent score.

I am a junior (international) who will be giving sat on 24th jan,but my practice test scores have tumbled from 2310 to 2170 to 2240.
They are not at all consistent.(I give tests on the kaplans 12 test book)
This is my second attempt(first 2040) and I want nail this one, please help.

I finished the blue book in May…so giving every and any test I can

What’s your goal? 2400?

i agree with ypmagic… practice with only official tests. I had the same problem. I would get 1700’s with Barron’s, 2200’s with Princeton’s…but i was able to get and stabilise my actual range of scores until i wrote in December this year while doing actual college board tests. I had a 2190 which was consistent with all my other scores

If CR is the volatile score, it may be because you haven’t fully locked down your vocab. Until you do, some tests will have words you know & others won’t.

The bird in your hand is 2040. U need to be considering a realistic slate of schools w that score in mind, bcs there is no guarantee u will do better in Jan.

Practice test scores are meaningless if the practice tests don’t come directly from the College Board.

Also, no American says they will be “giving” a test unless that person is the teacher or proctor. Students “take” a test.

my goal right now is atleast 2250+…also,shall i take all the blue book tests again?

and yes…CR is my major problem.

Redo the blue book or subscribe to the SAT online course.
Do not use anything other than authentic SATs to train with.
